How is my quest for God manifested in my catechetical ministry?
I'm not a cradle catholic. I came into the Catholic church the Easter of 1996, just before getting married. RCIA helped begin my journey into understanding the church, but teaching Sunday School helps me to keep learning. I still feel like there are parts that I don't totally get, but having my children, and my Sunday School class keep me looking for answers to the questions I have. So, as I plan for each lesson, I look at what God's message is to me, and then teach that to my first graders in a way they would best understand. I hope this answers the question the way you would like.
